Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Speaking of love, I am LOVING these new mother & child sessions! <3 How many of you have a photo with your mother that you love?

I know I don't.

Ironically, we were never a "take professional portraits" type of family. Not really. We have one from Olin-Mills and a few from Sears when I was pretty little, but that's it as far as family portraits go.

And, unfortunately, you can never get that time back.

So I love it when women decide to be in the pictures, to celebrate the ones they love and their relationships with them. To capture their existence.

I'm so happy that Josie and her sweet girl will have these images of them together.
